Saline Removal: How To Prepare & Aftercare
Aftercare Instructions
- Keep the area clean and dry for the first 48 hours
- Avoid touching, picking, or scratching the area
- Do not apply makeup on the area until fully healed
- Avoid sweating, workouts, swimming, saunas, and steam for 7–10 days
- Avoid direct sun exposure
- Do not apply any products unless instructed
The Healing Process
- Days 1–3: Area may appear red, swollen, and slightly tender
- Days 3–7: Scabbing will form — this is a normal part of the process
- Days 7–14: Scabs will begin to naturally fall off
- Weeks 2–6: Skin continues to heal and lighten
Do not pick scabs — this can affect results and cause scarring.
